1-2

Now you’re ready for the next step: create your website. You can chose to develop a conventional website or a weblog. If you are a novice to html, I strongly recommend that you select the second choice. As you may know, blogs are a fast, easy and efficient way to make yourself a name on the net. You certainly noticed it, blogs are today more than ever popular on the web. Even if you’re an experimented user, you really shall consider blogging you work. There’s a lot of blog hosting providers out there… but none is as well develop as the downloadable version of Wordpress. If you have no idea about what is Wordpress, go take a look at their website at http://wordpress.org . Wordpress is a fully customizable blog platform that you can upload on a web server of your choice (see the upcoming part 1-3 about web hosting providers). Might sound a bit confusing but once it’s installed, I’d never seen such a simple way to configure a weblog. With Wordpress you can uploads great plugins and themes to make your site look very professional. No need to mention that it also creates a RSS feed for you.

Introducing The Essential Guide

Sunday, June 3rd, 2007

Here’s an explanation of what the Essential Guide is:

This guide has a very special mission; helping you to make your website or blog a better place for the people that will visit it.In addition to that, it will show you how to monetize your web space. -How can it help you?- By giving you tips, tricks, resources and pertinent information. I sure you’ll find my guide useful! Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, it’s free, like any content on this website.

More has to come, but by then here’s a glimpse of the intro of the official guide. Thanks!

Introduction

First of all, thank you for reading those lines. It took me pretty much time to build this guide and it is always appreciate that people show interest in what you do or did. This guide is free, free like in gratis. You shouldn’t have paid for it, (if so, you may be victim of fraud. ) although many people would have make you pay for such a piece of art. Why did I made it available to free download? Because I want to help, not to get paid for what I learn from others. I thought and think this kind of help shall remain free, but when I start my ‘’online experience’’, and when I saw all those ‘’scamming-paying-what-ever-you-want’’ programs, I realized that most of the people don’t think the same way I do.
